Radware and SUSE Partner to Deliver Secure, Scalable Kubernetes Solutions

Radware, a global leader in application security and delivery solutions for multi-cloud environments, and SUSE, a global leader in secure, open-source enterprise solutions, announced a strategic partnership. Together, they are offering service providers and enterprises a full stack, cloud-native Kubernetes solution designed to achieve low latency, high availability, and regulatory compliant outcomes.

The collaboration brings together Radware’s Kubernetes Web Application and API Protection (KWAAP) with SUSE Rancher Prime and SUSE Security. The unique combination creates a modular, open, and certified solution for securing distributed workloads at scale—from core data centers to the edge.

This partnership addresses the growing urgency telecoms, retailers, financial institutions, healthcare organizations, and other enterprises face in securing cloud native deployments. According to Radware’s 2025 Global Threat Analysis Report, web application and API attacks increased 41% in 2024 compared to 2023. Organizations are experiencing rising threats from bot attacks, encrypted protocol exploits, and DDoS campaigns that traditional perimeter security tools are not able to detect or mitigate.

“We’re seeing a significant rise in advanced, targeted attacks at the application and API level—especially across distributed edge environments,” said Michael Nieto, Radware’s vice president of global business development. “The combination of our AI-powered Kubernetes Web Application and API Protection with SUSE’s Kubernetes management and container-native stack offers organizations a full-stack solution to enable uninterrupted service delivery.”

The integrated solution:

Reduces risk by closing security gaps inside Kubernetes clusters;

Enhances compliance with standards such as PCI DSS, HIPAA, and GDPR;

Accelerates cloud native adoption with secure-by-design deployments; and

Provides flexibility for integration with CI/CD pipelines and existing tools.

“SUSE’s approach is open, modular, and built for scale,” said Peter Smails, SUSE’s senior vice president and general manager of enterprise container management.

“Together with Radware, we’re offering customers an enterprise-ready Kubernetes- native stack that protects workloads from ingress to runtime to API—whether deployed in the cloud, on-premise, or at the edge.”

SUSE Rancher Prime provides centralized management and policy enforcement across multi-cluster Kubernetes environments, while SUSE Security (embedded in SUSE Rancher Prime) delivers deep runtime and workload protection. Radware’s KWAAP complements these capabilities with application and API protection, bot management, and DDoS mitigation, offering defense-in-depth without disrupting DevSecOps workflows.

Radware KWAAP is certified on SUSE Rancher Prime and SUSE Edge platforms. The certification facilitates interoperability, performance, and support across edge-native and hybrid cloud use cases.
