Sébastien Kamphuis Joins SiPearl as CIO
Sébastien Kamphuis has been appointed Chief Information Officer of SiPearl, the company designing the high-performance low-power microprocessor for European exascale supercomputers.
Kamphuis started with the IT services company ICS as a systems & network administrator in 2006. After three years as an IT manager for the furniture group Cauval Industries, he joined the IT services company Genious Systèmes to manage datacenter infrastructure projects for its customer Bouygues Telecom. In 2012, he joined Sogeti, the IT services branch of Capgemini, while still working on behalf of Bouygues Telecom. In 2019, he was hired by Engie. Throughout his 15-year career, Kamphuis has developed a deep experience in IT infrastructure service.
On October 3rd, Kamphuis joined SiPearl to lead the entire IT organization of the company located in France, Germany and Spain. His mission is to support SiPearl’s accelerated growth strategy through the delivery of innovative technologies: infrastructure, systems, tools and HPC clusters. In his new role, he will be responsible for managing SiPearl’s datacenters, telecom infrastructure and R&D centers network.
Reporting directly to Philippe Notton, CEO and founder of SiPearl, Sébastien Kamphuis joined as a member of the Management Committee.
