TCS expands European delivery network with new office in Romania
Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), a global leader in IT services,
consulting, and business solutions, has strengthened its European footprint
with the inauguration of a new office in Bucharest, Romania. The expansion
marks a strategic move to enhance the company’s digital engineering
capabilities and reinforce its near-shore delivery network across Europe.
The newly opened facility is located in Bucharest’s prominent Floreasca
business district and is set to play a key role in supporting TCS’ growing
client base in the region. Highlighting the company’s strong commitment to
local talent, over 95 percent of the workforce at the Romania operations
comprises Romanian nationals. This focus on nurturing local expertise is
expected to significantly boost TCS’ ability to deliver complex and high-value
digital transformation projects.
As part of its continued investment in advanced technologies, TCS has
also recently launched a Software-Defined Vehicle (SDV) innovation hub in
Bucharest. The hub will support global automotive clients as they transition
towards next-generation mobility solutions, including connected, autonomous,
and software-led vehicles. This initiative positions Romania as a key center
for automotive and digital engineering innovation within TCS’ global ecosystem.
The Bucharest office will serve as an important component of TCS’ extensive
European delivery network, which currently supports more than 350 customers
across 20 countries. With over 15,000 professionals employed across Europe, the
network enables TCS to deliver hyper-connected, near-shore services that align
closely with regional cultural, regulatory, language, and technology
requirements.
