Saiyam Jain Appointed as India HR Head at Foxconn

Saiyam Jain has been appointed as India HR Head at Foxconn, taking charge of the company’s human resources mandate in India. Jain brings experience across IT services, SaaS, NBFCs and manufacturing, with a focus on people strategy, rewards, performance management, HR technology and workforce transformation.

In his new role, Jain will lead the HR function for Foxconn India, with responsibilities spanning people strategy, organisation design, talent, culture and workforce development.

His mandate includes building and scaling a people function aligned with business requirements as the electronics manufacturing sector expands its workforce and capability needs in India.

Jain’s career has covered multiple industries, including IT services, SaaS and NBFCs, before moving into manufacturing with Foxconn. His experience includes developing people and business strategies, compensation and benefits frameworks and performance management systems.

He has also worked on organisational effectiveness and employee-focused initiatives, with an emphasis on aligning HR processes with business requirements.

A key area of Jain’s HR approach is the use of data and technology in people decisions. His experience includes people analytics, AI-led insights and digital HR transformation aimed at improving decision-making and employee experiences.

His stated focus areas also include skills-based workforce planning and preparing organisations for changing workplace requirements. At Foxconn India, these areas will form part of his broader HR mandate.

Jain has received recognition across the HR and compensation space, including the Pioneering HR Leader of the Year at CHRO Confex, India’s Topmost Compensation Leader Award and a Top 100 Under 40 HR Award.

He has also served as a jury member and mentor for the 30 Under 30 HR programme and received the Creating Excellence Award from Hero FinCorp.

Jain’s appointment adds an HR leader with experience across technology,  financial services and manufacturing to Foxconn India’s leadership structure. His new mandate will focus on developing the people function alongside the organisation’s requirements in the Indian market.
