Rockwell Automation lights up education and environment on World Environment Day
Rockwell Automation
celebrated World Environment Day by launching STEM (Science Technology
Engineering and Math) and solar light installation initiatives across India.
The company will fund 12 schools to implement STEM education, sponsor the World
Robotic Olympiad (WRO) and First Lego League (FLL) competitions, and install
solar lights at eight schools and 100 households.
On June 5, Rockwell Automation inaugurated a solar
lighting project in schools across Maharashtra and Uttar Pradesh. The event
included an inauguration ceremony, tree planting, and sampling distribution to
students. Schools in Ghaziabad and Pune were among those “lit up” by Rockwell
Automation on World Environment Day.

Automation India, expressed the company’s commitment to supporting the
communities in which they live and work. He highlighted Rockwell Automation’s
purpose-driven strategy, which aims to create opportunities and expand human
possibilities through technology and investments in people and community
development. Sawhney expressed confidence that these initiatives will have a
significant impact in building an inclusive and sustainable society.
