Randstad India Appoints Narayan Iyer As Managing Director, India

Randstad India has appointed Narayan Iyer as its Managing Director and Chair of the Randstad India Management Council, entrusting him with the leadership of the company's India operations across its Operational, Professional, Digital and Enterprise specialisations.

In his new role, Iyer will oversee Randstad India's business strategy while also providing indirect leadership to the company's three India-based shared service centres. His mandate includes driving the next phase of growth, strengthening digital capabilities and reinforcing Randstad's position as a strategic talent partner in the country.

Iyer brings more than three decades of experience in IT services and consulting. Before joining Randstad, he served as President of Bajaj Technology Services, the technology business unit of Bajaj Finserv Direct Limited, where he led technology-driven business transformation initiatives.

Announcing the appointment, Myriam Beatove Moreale, Executive Board Member at Randstad, said Iyer's experience in leading large enterprises and driving digital transformation would support the company's Partner for Talent strategy. She also acknowledged the contributions of outgoing Managing Director Viswanath PS, who led the India business for the past 12 years.

Commenting on his appointment, Iyer said India's talent landscape is being reshaped by rapid technological advances and changing workforce expectations. He added that Randstad would continue to expand its industry expertise and digital capabilities to deliver scalable talent solutions while strengthening India's position as a global talent hub.

The appointment comes as Randstad continues to expand its digital-first talent solutions and support organisations in building agile, future-ready workforces amid evolving business and workforce demands.
