Nutanix Appoints Jay Tuseth the VP & GM of APJ

Nutanix has announced the appointment of Jay Tuseth as its vice president and general manager for Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ). Tuseth, who previously served as vice president for Asia Pacific at real-time performance analytics software company Conviva, brings more than 25 years of experience in the IT industry.

He will report directly to Andrew Brinded, chief revenue officer at Nutanix, and takes over the role from Aaron White. White was promoted in November last year from general manager and APJ vice president of sales to field chief operating officer for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA).

Tuseth’s background includes leadership roles at some of the biggest names in the technology sector. Before joining Conviva, he held senior positions at Oracle, where he served as vice president for cloud applications, as well as Dell Technologies, where he was responsible for various leadership roles. Prior to that, he worked at Hewlett-Packard (HP) as a district sales manager.

During his time at Conviva, Tuseth worked closely with digital businesses and operations teams, shifting their focus from quality of service to quality of experience. His expertise in cloud computing, enterprise solutions, and digital infrastructure is expected to contribute to Nutanix’s growth in the APJ region.

Tuseth holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer and Information Systems from Regis University in the United States.

His appointment comes shortly after Nutanix launched Nutanix Cloud Clusters (NC2) on Microsoft Azure in Qatar. The solution enables private and public enterprises to integrate their on-premises infrastructure with the Microsoft Azure cloud, allowing businesses to improve scalability and operational efficiency while maintaining data compliance. The introduction of NC2 on Azure follows increasing demand from both Nutanix and Microsoft customers seeking a hybrid cloud solution that offers flexibility and seamless integration between on-premises and cloud environments.
