NetApp and Tampa Bay Buccaneers Partner to Enable Data-Driven Operational Excellence
NetApp, the
Intelligent Data Infrastructure company, announced that they have been named an
Official Partner of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. This new relationship builds on
NetApp’s status as the Official Intelligent Data Infrastructure Partner of the
NFL, helping the league and its teams quickly and confidently access, manage,
and activate their data. The Buccaneers will leverage NetApp technology to
support the experience for Buccaneers fans in the stadium on game days and
beyond.
“NetApp will serve as a trusted technology partner that will help us elevate the customer experience for all Buccaneers fans,” said Buccaneers Chief Commercial Officer Atul Khosla. “Reliable and secure access to data plays an essential role in the overall game day experience at Raymond James Stadium. NetApp’s industry-leading intelligent data infrastructure will help us deliver a more seamless and connected experience for our Krewe at games and across the digital platforms that we use.”
This partnership launches following the Buccaneers first
regular 2026 season game against the Cincinnati Bengals on September 13. The
partnership expands NetApp’s relationship with the NFL as the league’s Official
Intelligent Data Infrastructure Partner, helping to securely manage, protect,
and activate the data behind the league’s operations. Across the NFL, NetApp
technology supports demanding real-world workloads, including the storage and
availability of game day video used by NFL football operations and club
football operations teams. This collaboration has demonstrated how the right
infrastructure can help complex, data-intensive organizations operate more
efficiently and resiliently.
By using NetApp Keystone, a flexible and simple
subscription-based service that adapts to changing business needs, the
Buccaneers can accelerate data workloads with industry-leading performance,
intelligent data management, and high availability across data centers and
cloud environments. The NetApp Platform delivers built-in data security that
autonomously detects threats and enables rapid recovery.
“Successful teams achieve meaningful results long before
game day by bringing together the right people, trusted data, sound decisions,
and disciplined execution,” said Gabie Boko, Chief Marketing Officer at NetApp.
“Elite sports show what organizations can accomplish when their people can turn
information into confident action. As a Proud Partner of the Tampa Bay
Buccaneers, we’re celebrating the preparation, trust, and teamwork that sustain
excellence and the Intelligent Data Infrastructure that helps make it
possible.”
