Myriota Appoints George Kanuck as Chief Operating Officer
Satellite IoT connectivity company Myriota has
appointed George Kanuck as Chief Operating Officer “to propel the company’s
global growth strategy”.
Based in
Austin, Texas, Kanuck brings more than 20 years of C-suite leadership
experience across complex, sophisticated technology solutions in IoT, security,
and enterprise technology, including senior roles at Trustonic, Good
Technology, and within the Nutanix ecosystem.
Myriota says that
most recently, as Chief Revenue Officer at Monetate, Kanuck made significant
impacts, helping to align customer needs with product offerings in order to
deliver a world-class customer experience.
“His
career has been defined by building high-performance global operations,
aligning go-to-market execution with customer outcomes, and scaling
organisations through periods of rapid growth. As demand accelerates for
secure, low-power, and affordable IoT connectivity, his experience positions
him to drive Myriota’s next phase of growth, with a focus on:
- Scaling global service delivery and customer operations to support
adoption of Myriota’s HyperPulse™ and UltraLite™ networks across sectors,
including oil and gas, renewable energy, logistics, agriculture, water and
government.
- Optimising end-to-end operational performance, ensuring simplicity,
reliability, and speed as Myriota’s partner ecosystem expands
- Building a unified operational backbone for OEMs, solution
providers, and enterprise customers deploying IoT at a global scale
Ben Cade,
CEO of Myriota, said
the appointment comes at a pivotal moment for the company. “With HyperPulse now
in General Availability across multiple markets, and strong momentum across
agriculture, logistics, resources, and environmental monitoring, we’re entering
our next phase of growth.
“George
brings a rare combination of operational rigour, commercial insight, and
experience scaling complex technology solutions. His mandate is clear: shorten
time-to-success for partners, strengthen service performance at scale, and
ensure every customer interaction reflects the reliability of our network.”
“Myriota
has engineered its networks from the ground up to deliver critical data from
assets anywhere in the world, with a resilience born in the world’s hardest‑to‑reach
places, rather than retrofitting consumer or mobile satellite systems,” said
Kanuck. “That specialist architecture underpins ultra‑low‑power
operation, truly global reach, and predictable performance with networks and
devices that ‘just work’ across a broad and impactful range of IoT use cases.
I’m excited to turn this technology advantage into world-class operations that
make it faster and easier for our customers and partners to deploy, scale, and
rely on Myriota every day.”
“With an
expanding presence across 57 countries, the appointment reinforces Myriota’s
focus on operational excellence, scalable growth, and partner enablement as
global demand accelerates,” concluded Myriota.
