Infosys Elevates Mitrankur Majumdar To EVP, Global Head Of Sure At Infosys
Mitankur Majumdar has been
appointed Executive Vice President and Global Head of Services, Utilities,
Resources and Energy (SURE) at Infosys.
Infosys confirmed the appointment
in a LinkedIn post, highlighting Majumdar’s experience in business
transformation, strategic AI partnerships and driving growth across markets.
“We are delighted to congratulate
Mitrankur Majumdar "Mit", on his appointment as Executive Vice
President and Global Head of Services, Utilities, Resources and Energy (SURE)
at Infosys,” the company said.
The company noted that the SURE
industries are undergoing significant transformation driven by AI, data, cloud,
new operating models and evolving client expectations.
“Mit’s experience in business
transformation, strategic AI partnerships and building growth across diverse
markets positions him strongly to lead this next phase,” Infosys said.
Under Majumdar’s leadership, the
company aims to help enterprises move from AI ambition to business value, while
strengthening ecosystems and driving sustainable growth across the SURE
industries.
Majumdar has been with Infosys
for close to three decades, having held various leadership roles during his
tenure with the technology services company.
