Google Launches Gemini Enterprise
Google announced that it has launched Gemini
Enterprise, an agentic platform designed to bring the full power of Google's AI
to every employee.
Gemini Enterprise brings together several AI technologies -
including Google's Gemini models, first and third-party agents, and the core
conversational AI and orchestration technology of what was formerly known as
Google Agentspace - creating a new, singular agentic platform. Google said this
powerful platform allows organizations to move beyond simple chat to build
secure, complex, multi-step agents.
Combined with Google DeepMind's cutting-edge models and an
organization's own corporate data, these agents can, for the first time, access
and synthesize information from internal systems and Google AI tools like Code
Assist and Deep Research within a single enterprise workflow.
Customers using this platform including:
Virgin Voyages is tapping into Gemini Enterprise to develop a fleet of
50+ AI agents including the successful launch of "Email Ellie", an AI
agent that helps employees develop personalized, on-brand marketing outreach
and reach more travellers. This has already accelerated content production by 40
percent and contributed to the company's record-breaking sales in July.
Macquarie Bank is rolling out Gemini Enterprise to every employee
across the bank to elevate the customer experience, enhance employee
productivity and accelerate decision-making.
Olympics Los Angeles '28 has named Google Cloud as its Official Cloud
Provider, using Gemini Enterprise and Google Workspace as key LA28 Games tools
for planning and logistics, helping to solve the massive, real-world puzzle of
managing over 70,000 volunteers and members of the workforce.
Gordon Food Service is accelerating its growth with Gemini
Enterprise and broad adoption of Google Workspace across 12,000 employees to
strengthen sales strategies, improve knowledge sharing, create engaging content
and build custom AI tools.
Open, Collaborative Partner Ecosystem
Google Cloud said it is advancing its agentic AI ecosystem in
four critical ways:
- Expanded cross-platform workflows: Google Cloud is expanding its work with
partners like Box, OpenText, ServiceNow and Workday to enable sophisticated,
cross-platform workflows right out of the box.
- Scaling with partners: Industry-leading partners, including BCG,
Capgemini, HCLTech, Infosys, McKinsey, TCS, Wipro and many others can assist
with planning, deployment and custom agent development to speed one's adoption
of Gemini Enterprise. And Accenture, Cognizant, Deloitte, KPMG and PwC are
making announcements on their internal adoption and expanded services for
Gemini Enterprise.
- Discover validated agents: Customers can now use a new AI agent finder
to discover the right agent for their needs, where they have assurance that the
thousands of agents they can now find, filter and deploy have been reviewed for
security and interoperability.
- Market and monetize agents: For those partners building AI agents,
Google Cloud provides a simple, powerful way to market and earn revenue from
one's solutions, instantly connecting one with millions of Google Cloud
customers.
Programs to Help Upskill the Workforce
Google Cloud is introducing Google Skills, its new platform
where training from across Google, from Gemini Enterprise to Google Deepmind,
is available for free. On this platform, the company is announcing the Gemini
Enterprise Agent Ready (GEAR) program, a new educational sprint designed to
empower one million developers to build and deploy agents.
