Freshworks Appoints Ryan Manning As Chief Product And Technology Officer
Freshworks has appointed Ryan Manning as Chief Product and
Technology Officer, effective August 10, 2026, as the software company moves to
integrate its product and technology strategy under a single leadership role.
Manning will report to CEO Dennis Woodside and succeed Srini
Raghavan, who is leaving Freshworks to pursue an entrepreneurial venture.
Murali Swaminathan will continue as Chief Technology Officer, reporting to
Manning.
In his new role, Manning will oversee Freshworks' global product
roadmap and engineering organisation, with responsibility for product and
technology strategy spanning its AI, IT and customer experience offerings.
Manning joins Freshworks with experience across startups and
global software companies. He was involved in building and scaling ServiceNow
around its IPO period and later co-founded FreeAgent CRM, now Servis.ai. Most
recently, he served as Chief Product Officer at BMC Helix, where he worked on
bringing product and technology functions closer together and developing the company's
focus on ServiceOps and agentic AI.
Freshworks said the leadership structure is intended to help the
company respond faster to customer needs as AI reshapes service management and
enterprise software. Manning will be based at Freshworks' San Mateo headquarters.
