Accenture appointed Pradeep Prabhala as lead of its India Market Unit from September
Accenture has appointed
Pradeep Prabhala as lead of its India Market Unit, effective 1 September 2026,
as the company strengthens its leadership team in one of its key growth
markets.
In his new role, Prabhala will work with clients across India to
help them leverage data and artificial intelligence (AI) to accelerate growth,
improve productivity and build more agile businesses. He will also support
global organisations in establishing Global Capability Centres (GCCs) as
drivers of innovation, business transformation and operational resilience.
Announcing the appointment, Arundhati Chakraborty, Global Lead –
Finance & Global Capability Centres and Executive Sponsor – India Market

Prabhala brings more than two decades of consulting and business
transformation experience across artificial intelligence, digital
transformation, supply chain, mergers and acquisitions, sustainability and
commercial strategy.
Before joining Accenture, he was a Partner at McKinsey &
Company, where he led the firm's Consumer practice in India and its Agriculture
practice across Asia. Earlier, he spent nearly a decade at Monitor Deloitte,
advising organisations on growth strategy, market expansion and business
building across multiple geographies.
He began his career at Hindustan Unilever, where he was part of
the founding team that established the company's modern trade business in
India.
Beyond his corporate leadership experience, Prabhala is an
early-stage investor in AI, enterprise software and deep technology companies
in India and the United States. He has also been named an incoming Rockefeller
Foundation Bellagio Fellow and Salzburg Fellow.
The
appointment reflects Accenture's continued investment in leadership, talent and
AI-led capabilities as demand for digital transformation, data-driven
decision-making and Global Capability Centres continues to grow across the
Indian market.
